We do know that Skype for Windows Phone was launched officially a couple of days ago, and there were some concerns that the mobile version of the VoIP app is unable to run on Windows Phone devices that had a mere 256MB RAM. Well, it seems that it is not an issue with the Nokia Lumia 610, as it has been confirmed to run on this entry level Nokia smartphone without a hitch, although you might find it to be slower than its other more powerful siblings. Granted, there were some challenges placed in the way of Skype’s developers, but in the latest round of testing which was performed, Skype for Windows Phone is good to go for the Lumia 610, so if you happen to own that particular handset from Nokia, there should not be much to fret about. Having said that, this would mean the Nokia Lumia 610 NFC would also be able to play nice with Skype for Windows Phone.
