If you’re a fan of Diablo 3 and it’s the game that you’ve been waiting for for the past decade or so, you are probably painfully aware of the various server issues the game faced on its launch day. Granted things are a lot smoother now, it seems that there are still users who are reporting on various issues and what not. Well if you’d like to find out if the servers are genuinely down for maintenance or if it’s just you, a server-checking app dubbed “Diablo 3 Server Checker” has been released by Eluamous, the creator behind other server checking apps such as World of Warcraft.

As the name itself has implied, this app should allow you to check the Diablo 3 server status via your Android mobile device (no word on an iOS version) and will basically pull status messages from Battle.net. Interestingly for the hardcore Diablo 3 gamers, the app will also include a widget that Android users can place on their home screens for quick view. If you’re interested in checking it out, hop on over to Google Play for the download. Alternatively you can bookmark the Server Status page on the Battle.net website.
