samsung galaxy s3 pebble blue

We have just received word that recent rumors about the Pebble Blue version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 being delayed are true. With that said however, Samsung believes that the shortage of the Pebble Blue version of its flagship product will only be faced in certain regions. Apparently, the shortage will also only be affecting the Samsung Galaxy S3 SIM free models. Samsung said:

“Samsung’s Galaxy S3 Pebble Blue version comes with a newly invented blue color and special hyper-glaze material. In order to meet the highest internal quality standards and to provide the best quality S3 to customers, a short supply of Pebble Blue version is expected in some regions in the next 2-3 weeks. Samsung is working hard to ensure that customers will get the Pebble Blue colored devices as soon as possible.”

While this news might be upsetting for the many people who were hoping to get their hands on the handset, there is still the option of the Marble White version which looks very nice as well. Do let us know what you think about the delay. It could be because of a few reasons such as the rumored reason which was a defect that caused Samsung to allegedly destroy 600,000 of their Pebble Blue rear-covers, they were under-prepared for the massive pre-order numbers or could it be that they really want to take the extra time to ensure that the handsets come out looking just as perfect as they claim to want it to be.
