The other day we reported that Disney offered up three of its app on iOS devices. In case you missed our post, this basically allows iOS users with a Comcast cable TV subscription to stream Disney shows onto their iOS devices. It also allowed non-subscribers to stream shows albeit limited in choice. If you like the idea of streaming shows onto your iPhone or iPad while you’re on the go, the good news is that Cartoon Network also appears to be taking a stab at video streaming and is expected to start offering streaming television shows on iOS devices. Of course this would also require users to prove that they are an authenticated cable television subscriber, so if you are but you’d like the option of being able to catch up on your cartoons while on the go, then the recent update to 1.8 of the Cartoon Network app might be worth checking out. Pop on over to the iTunes App Store for the download/update.
