It looks like Samsung might have another Galaxy Note device planned, this time of the 7.7” variety. This was revealed thanks to its model number, the GT-N5100, although the exact specifications of the device remain unknown. What we do know is that it will reportedly have a display resolution of 800×1280, and it will also be powered by a quad-core processor, a 1.6GHz Exynos 4412 chipset which is the same one that is used in the Galaxy Note 2. Assuming that is the case, it has been speculated that this alleged 7.7” Samsung Galaxy Note device will not be competing against the Nexus 7 or the Kindle Fire at least in terms of price. Another model, the GT-N5110 has also been spotted, suggesting that the previous model could be a WiFi-only model, while the latter could feature mobile connectivity. No word on when we can expect to learn more but we’ll keep our eyes peeled anyway, so stay tuned for updates!
