[CES 2013] At the turn of the year, we did talk about how Polaroid has decided to make that brave plunge into the world of tablets, which will be a very different animal from the photography department that they have been involved in since forever. This CES edition saw Polaroid introduce a 7” tablet for the masses that is known as the Polaroid M7, and it has been designated for a spring release later this year at $129 a pop.

Basically, the Polaroid M7 will (obviously) come with a 7-inch display at a respectable 1280 × 800 resolution, where you end up with a pixel density of 216PPI, and there will be a dual-core processor of unspecified make and model running underneath the hood. To ensure that the Polaroid M7 does not end up obsolete upon unboxing it, there will be 8GB of internal memory that can be further augmented thanks to the presence of a microSD memory card slot, accompanied by a 2-megapixel shooter in front and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in tow.
