If you’ve ever been looking for a job while you’re on your mobile device, you know how hard it is to apply for a position while still trying to keep your correspondence as professional looking as possible. One of the most popular social networks for professionals, LinkedIn, is making it easier for job hunters to apply for a position on their mobile device.

LinkedIn is rolling out an update to both its iOS and Android applications to help make the process of applying for a job on a mobile device easier due to several new features being introduced today. Today’s update will add an Apply and Save Job button to each job listing you view. After clicking on Apply, you’ll be able to edit your LinkedIn profile to make it look as professional as possible before submitting your profile for the position.

LinkedIn is taking its mobile audience more serious with today’s update considering over 30% of LinkedIn members view jobs on their mobile devices. Today’s update is hot on the heels of last month’s update, which introduced the “Jobs you might be interested in” section on its iOS and Android applications.
