nokia-headquarters-logo-sign-001-630x472Nokia’s Windows Phone-powered devices that are now wholly owned by Microsoft officially, intends to differentiate themselves from the rest of the competition through a narrow focus on camera technology (other than the obvious avoidance of using the Android operating system, of course). After all, the likes of the Nokia Lumia 1020 has certainly pushed the boundaries of smartphone imaging capabilities, don’t you think so? Word has it that there will be a couple more Windows Phone 8.1 updates that are coming way later this year that will enhance your photo taking ability on a Nokia smartphone.

There is also an upcoming device with the codename ‘Superman’, which is set to debut later in the year, where it will carry a front-facing 5MP sensor camera that allows you to capture an exceptionally detailed selfie, while sporting alleged hardware specifications such as a 4.7” display.

The first of the two updates are touted to arrive before June is over, and it remains to be seen just when the second update will arrive for users everywhere to take advantage of the situation. It does seem as though Nokia has a clear vision of the future that they want to embark upon, and we cannot wait to see how else the Windows Phone 8.1 updates will make the platform all the more attractive to those sitting on the sidelines.
