A French website have gotten hold of what looks like a leak that concerns the upcoming iPhone 6, which has been touted by some to be a phablet. Apparently, the leaked cases that you see above do show off a couple of possible iPhone 6 configurations – one that comes with a 4.5” display, while the other has a 5.5” display, where the latter would be in line with that of rumors surrounding the iPhone 6 so far.
The larger sized iPhone 6 wannabe has been dubbed as the iPhone 6s in the leak, which means the smaller “iPhone 6” case would measure 138mm x 67mm, while the larger “iPhone 6s” case would feature dimensions of 157mm x 81mm. This is not too far away from the Nokia Lumia 1520, which is a 6” phablet that sports measurements of 162.8mm x 85.4mm.
Regardless, both devices do seem to measure around 7mm thin, which would make them thinner compared to the existing iPhone 5s that has a thickness of 7.6mm. A thin phablet would certainly be attractive, but it might be an issue for Apple to hunt down a battery cell that is so thin. Ah well, all of these are just rumors until something official comes about, so we will just sit tight and wait.
