motog-motoeAccording to the rumors, the Moto E is an upcoming handset by Motorola that is yet another low-cost offering, which in a way could be thought of as a successor to the highly successful Moto G. Now the handset was spotted on Zauba, an import/export database in India, and now thanks to an accidental post on Motorola Mexico’s Facebook page, it looks like we are looking at the Moto E.

The post has since been removed, but not before the quick thinking managed to save the photo. The device in question is the one pictured above to the right in a white finish. From what we can tell, it appears to be smaller than the Moto G, which also seems to be in line with the rumors suggesting that it could feature a 4.3-inch 720p HD display, versus the Moto G’s slightly larger 4.5-inch display.

It also appears to to have two grills of sorts at the top and bottom of the phone. Presumably the one at the top is the speaker used when taking calls, but we’re not sure what the bottom one is for. Could we be looking at BoomSound-like setup? There also does not appear to be a front-facing camera either, since that black box next to the top speaker grill appears to be a sensor of sorts, not a camera.

In any case Motorola is expected to announce new products come 13th of May, so perhaps we will learn more about the Moto E then. Until then, what do you guys make of it? Are you liking what you see so far?
