Late last month it was rumored that the next Battlefield game is going to be called Hardline. The title was confirmed only days later by Electronic Arts. Its due to tell us more about the game at E3 2014 but before that EA has published a launch trailer online. The trailer reveals Battlefield Hardline release date. We’ll have to wait for quite a few months before it hits shelves.

The 44-second trailer shows us bits and pieces of the gameplay experience, something we hope to get a look at in detail come E3. As previously mentioned the trailer also includes the release date for the next Battlefield title. Hardline is going to be released on October 21st, it will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and the Xbox 360.

The Battlefield Hardline launch trailer comes days after a 10-minute long gameplay footage of the upcoming title was leaked online. Even though EA promptly had it taken down from YouTube the video is still very much out there on the internet. EA itself is likely to show off the gameplay tomorrow during its E3 2014 press conference.

According to EA this title is based on a cops versus criminal fantasy that is “inspired by some of the most popular TV crime dramas.” Its press conference is scheduled to begin tomorrow at 12:00PM PDT, be sure to tune in and see what it has to show.
