samsung-galaxy-f-golden

Time and time again we have heard rumors about Samsung having a rather unique variant of its new flagship up its sleeve. Like all of its predecessors the Galaxy S5 touts a plastic body. For months it has been rumored that Samsung is going to launch a variant with a metal body. Initially known as the Galaxy S5 Prime, it is now widely believed that this smartphone will be called the Galaxy F. A new press render of the device has been leaked online which shows it off in “perfect golden” hue.

Samsung hasn’t confirmed the existence of this smartphone as yet and it’s unclear when the company plans on making an official announcement. Previously most of the rumors about this device were coming from unknown sources with little or absolutely no track record.

This particular render has been leaked by none other than serial Twitter leaker @evleaks. His track record speeds for itself and @evleaks himself doesn’t need any introduction. The render shows off a Galaxy F in golden hue, which according to the source, is destined for the market this year.

It is often believed that the date on a leaked render is often a hint about its release date. This render carries the Wednesday, September 12th date even though in reality its actually a Friday. Moreover this is merely two days after the IFA show in Berlin where Samsung launches its Galaxy Note phablet.

The possibility exists that this render isn’t finder and the date and day mentioned on it are merely placeholders. It now seems more and more likely with each passing day that a premium variant of the Galaxy S5 is definitely around the corner.
