pegatron-cdmaJust like how one is unable to keep a good rumor down for long, here we are with word that Apple has awarded Pegatron with a “bumper harvest”, so to speak, of 50% of their upcoming 4.7” iPhone 6 orders for the coming year. Just how many devices could that be? Because that amounts up to a possible 50 million devices that will ship later this fall and winter, and as for the other half of the order, it will most probably end up with Foxconn. So far, Pegatron has managed to make a move to hire up to 100,000 new workers in order to meet the upcoming iPhone 6 product quota, not to mention getting the assistance of other Foxbots where the final testing stages as concerned.

This particular leak, however, remains to be confirmed, so do take it with a pinch of salt. It is rather interesting to note that the 5.5” iPhone 6 model does seem to be missing from this particular leak, which would be rather weird after taking into consideration the number of rumors that had included this particular model. Perhaps whispers of its delay will be confirmed? Well, as with all other good rumors, you will have to wait for some time before it either gets confirmed or debunked.
