iphone6-dyegateWhile the iPhone 6 as well as the iPhone 6 Plus has seen its fair share of issues right after release, this does not mean that interest in the two handsets have waned. On the contrary, they have actually buoyed Apple to a new record where quarterly earnings are concerned. Unfortunately, right after the entire bending chassis issue, there might just be another iPhone 6 flaw could raise the ire of those who have been loyal to the iPhone brand all this while – which would be having dye from a blue pair of jeans actually discoloring the plastic strips that are located on the back of the phone.

Apparently, there are some iPhone 6 owners out there who are not too bothered with covering their handsets with a protective case, and after sliding their handset in and out of their jeans pocket for some time, the dye from the denim has started to stick to these plastic strips. This ends up in a rather unsightly discoloration which results in the iPhone 6 looking rather dirty as well as worn out, and those who have tried to remove this discoloration using standard soaps and household cleaning products claim that the discoloration still remained. Could this particular issue end up as “Dyegate” in the long run? Chances are it will not stop anyone who is interested in the iPhone 6 from purchasing one, and with Apple not making a statement on the situation as at press time, you can be sure that “Dyegate” will join “Antennagate” in the list of infamy.
