vaingloryA couple of months ago when Apple unveiled the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, instead of being treated to games like Infinity Blade which was used in previous iPhone launches to show off its graphic capabilities, Apple turned to Super Evil Megacorp who unveiled the Vainglory MOBA that was designed for Apple’s new phones.

Well the good news is that if you were looking forward to the game, you will be pleased to learn that the game is now finally available for download via the iTunes App Store. The game is a free download, although we should note that there are in-app purchases that could potentially rack up a lot more than what you were originally willing to spend.

The game was previously released in markets such as Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, but we guess it has finally made its way stateside just like the developers had promised a little over a week ago. For those unfamiliar, Vainglory is a MOBA in the similar veins of DotA 2, League of Legends, and so on.

However it has been compressed and optimized for small screen devices and will feature one lane as opposed to 3. Teams are also limited to 3 players per team as opposed to other MOBAs which allow as many as 5. Super Evil Megacorp has also estimated that are around 20 minutes so that gamers can get in a relatively quick game, as opposed to traditional MOBAs which could last 45 minutes to an hour.
