If you’ve ever wanted to play a game of SimCity on your mobile device, you might have heard that a few months ago, EA announced that they would be bringing a mobile SimCity onto smartphones in the form of SimCity BuildIt. Well the good news is that if you liked what you saw and wanted in on the action, the game has been officially launched.
As expected, SimCity BuildIt appears to be a freemium game which means that it will be free for gamers to download, but if you want to unlock certain features or gain access to in-game items, be prepared to fork out real money for it, which at the end of the day could result in you spending more than you would like.
For those wondering about the gameplay, it is more or less the same as its desktop counterpart in terms of goals and what you’re trying to achieve in the game, which is to build up a city from scratch while keeping your citizens happy. Gamers will also have to manage more than their citizens’ happiness and will have to contend with issues like traffic and pollution.
