Many of you might have heard by now that Apple has an event scheduled for tomorrow where it’s expected to talk a lot more about the Apple Watch. Rumor has it that the company may also make some MacBook related announcements at the event. It has been spotted that shipping times for MacBook notebooks have slipped on Apple’s online store, this is usually an indication that a refresh is incoming.

Folks at Macrumors picked up on delayed shipping times for the MacBook Air and 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro. The status now is “1 business day” as opposed to “in stock.”

Recent reports suggest that Apple might announce a MacBook Air refresh at the event. It will only be a simple hardware refresh with the latest Intel Broadwell processors and Intel HD 6000 graphics expected to be onboard.

The possibility exists that a similar refresh might be in store for the 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro. New processors, more RAM and storage might be the only changes that Apple makes to this notebook.

There have also been many rumors about a new 12-inch MacBook Air. Initially it was believed that this notebook will also be announced at Apple’s event. A report from The Wall Street Journal last week claimed that this notebook might not arrive until later this year.

Apple’s “Spring Forward” event takes place tomorrow, March 9th, in San Francisco.
