Minecon is an annual convention where Minecraft fans gather to celebrate their favorite game. Mojang confirmed last month that Minecon 2015 is going to take place after skipping 2014, it expects more than 10,000 people to turn up, the event is going to take place in London. Mojang finally confirmed today when Minecon 2015 tickets sale starts. Minecraft fans who want to attend the festivities should mark their calendars for March 27th.
Tickets will be sold online at minecon.mojang.com on March 27th and March 28th. They will cost £129 each. Mojang reiterates that it will only sell tickets via the website through Eventbrite.
To ensure that people have ample opportunity to purchase a ticket only 5,000 tickets will go on sale at 6 pm GMT on March 27th. The next batch of 5,000 tickets will be sold at 12 pm GMT on March 28th. Up to six tickets can be purchased in one order.
To complete an order the name of each person a ticket is being bought for needs to be entered. The order will not be processed under this is not done. Mojang has confirmed that tickets cannot be sold and they are non-transferrable. Children aged 3 or under will be admitted for free.
Minecon 2015 takes place at the ExCeL London Exhibition and Conference Center on July 4th and July 5th, 2015.
