Yesterday was a very big day for Microsoft as it finally rolled out Windows 10 in 190 countries across the globe. As part of the launch the company has also released Office Mobile apps for Windows 10 which are now readily available to download in all launch markets. These apps have been built from the ground up for a superior experience on touchscreen devices while maintaining all of the capabilities that people expect from Office apps.

Office Mobile apps for Windows 10 include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. The company says that these apps provide all of the features that people need for on-the-go productivity on Windows 10 powered tablets and small screen devices.

They’re capable of opening full-fledged Office documents with edits and changes rendering perfectly across all devices. All apps are integrated with OneDrive making it very easy for users to access their documents from anywhere, continue working from where they left off and work simultaneously with other people on documents.

This marks the first of three important Office releases that are scheduled for 2015 on the Windows platform. In September the company is going to release Office 2016 for Windows desktops and later on in the fall it’s going to roll out Office Mobile for Windows Phones.
