oneplus-2-review-11

Not too long ago OnePlus revealed its new flagship smartphone and already more than two million people have registered to receive an invite in order to purchase this handset. Fans of the company have anxiously been waiting for the new units to arrive but if they’re located in the United States or Canada they’ll have to keep waiting for a couple of more weeks. OnePlus has confirmed that the first shipment of OnePlus 2 for U.S. and Canada has been delayed.

OnePlus says that after launching the OnePlus 2 formally it has been working “non-stop” to bring the new handset to customers, adding the production of the device is in full swing.

The company says that due to “production schedules” shipping to customers in the United States and Canada is going to being some 2-3 weeks after shipments commence in Europe.

OnePlus does “sincerely apologize” for this delay and acknowledges that some fans might be disappointed by this news, but the company wants them to know that it’s being transparent about the situation so that they have a much better idea of when their OnePlus 2 is going to arrive.

A confirmed date has not yet been provided by the company so it remains to be seen if it really is capable of pushing the first shipment out within the given timeframe.
