According to PowerSquare CEO, Pavan Pudipeddi, Tango is the “world’s first multi device charger for Qi compatible devices” that can charge up to two mobile devices simultaneously with free positioning. The fact that there is no need to position your smartphones in a defined way to charge them is very practical, and to our knowledge, current wireless chargers do not offer that feature yet.

Tango offers a patent-pending Adaptive Position-Free (APF) system that allows users to place the mobile device in any position on the charging pad.

The wireless charger weighs only 150 grams and features a sleek body with a champaign-gold finish on top, a rubber feet on the back and a black rubberized frame that encases all four edges.

According to the company, Tango’s Adaptive Position-Free (APF) system uses transmitter coils that are more affordable than competitive solutions. The APF system will be extended later to support multiple wireless charging protocols and standards in the future.

Tango is available for pre-orders for a discounted price of $79.99 with the first units shipping in September 2015. Check out the demo video to learn more about Tango and how it works.

Key features:

  • No need to properly align the phone on the pad
  • Charges up to two devices simultaneously
  • Compatibility with all Qi compliant devices
