If you have ever trained martial arts like Muay Thai, Karate, or Taekwondo, you know that the kick is one of the more devastating attacks you have at your disposal. We have seen videos where some kicks are so strong that they can shatter baseball bats. We’ve also seen how some legs are stronger than other where a kick could shatter the opponent’s shin in half.

That being said when pitted against the iPhone 6 and 6s (with the latter’s 7000 series aluminum build), how will a martial artist’s kick do? The folks at SquareTrade decided to find out by getting UFC title contender Luke Rockhold to try and kick and bend the iPhones just by using his own strength.

Granted this probably isn’t the most scientific testing we’ve seen, but if you like watching novel ways of destroying devices, this might be one of them. Interestingly enough the video also confirms that the iPhone 6s with its 7000 series aluminum body is considerably tougher. You can see Rockhold easily bending the iPhone 6, but with the iPhone 6s the struggle is much more noticeable.

In any case if you have a few minutes to spare or maybe you’re just a UFC fan, do check out the video above for the details. In the meantime after seeing Rockhold display his kicking prowess and strength, the upcoming fight against UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman will no doubt be an interesting one to watch.
