trump_extensionDonald Trump has certainly been making headlines with a lot of things that he’s been saying. For example, he claims to want to shut off the internet which is actually one of the less extreme things he’s said in recent times. Not everyone is a fan of Trump, so much so that at one point hacking group Anonymous have targeted him in their hacking attempts.

That being said if you’d rather just not read anything that Trump has to say, you’re in luck because a man called Rob Spectre has put together a Chrome extension called Trump Filter. As the name suggests, this is a filter designed to block all stories that might be related to Trump so that you won’t come across it during your surfing sessions.

According to Spectre, “I am doing this out of a profound sense of annoyance and patriotic duty. Tragically, Trump Filter cannot be installed on your television. However, we hope that enough installs will be a strong signal to the international media that America is ready to move on from this inveterate jackass.”

This is not the first time we’ve seen Chrome extensions used to block content online. Back in November there was a Star Wars extension that blocked potential spoilers from being revealed. In any case if you’d like to get your hands on this extension, then head on over to the Chrome Web Store to install it.
