Nyko, a company well known for making gaming accessories, has released a new accessory for the Xbox One. It’s going to appeal to you if you’d like more storage on the console as it basically adds an external 3.5″ hard drive to the Xbox One. It’s not that different really from the one Nyko has released for the PlayStation 4, the hard drive enclosure sits on top of the console and enables console owners to easily expand storage with a conventional 3.5″ hard drive.

In a statement announcing the release of its latest accessory for Xbox One the company claims that it’s Data Bank for Microsoft’s current-gen console is much better than other options out there since they are “less visually appealing” since they tend to be detached from the console and also leave behind a cable trail which takes up space necessarily.

Nyko’s Xbox One Data Bank features a front-facing LED that lets console owners know at a single glance when the hard drive is either saving or reading content off of the HDD. It comes with its own power cable as well.

Those who are interested in picking up this accessory can now do so over at Amazon and the Nyko online store. Nyko is selling the Xbox One Data Bank for $40, that’s the exact same price that it charges for the PlayStation 4 version, which was released earlier this year in June.
