If you’ve been closely following developments related to Ubisoft’s upcoming title The Division then you might have found out that yesterday an unreleased trailer for this game was leaked online. Even though Ubisoft moved quickly to contain the footage the thing is that when something goes online it’s pretty hard to erase all evidence of it. Ubisoft has decided to stop trying to plug the leak and has officially released the new trailer for The Division.

The trailer doesn’t reveal any major details about the upcoming game but does hint at co-op elements in the gameplay, players may be required to work together as a team to combat the rising wave of violence in the city.

It first sets a pretty gloomy picture of the entire scenario, society has broken down and armed people are roaming the streets taking the law in their own hands. The Division is sent in to contain the issue and return order to the city.

Ubisoft has already confirmed that The Division is going to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on March 8th. A closed beta will be offered to those who pre-order the game, it hasn’t confirmed when the beta will go live but that’s expected to happen later this month.
