Password management apps are widely used by millions of people across the globe, and there’s really no shortage of apps that offer similar features, in a bid to differentiate its app from the crowd 1Password developer AgileBits has announced a new plan called 1Password for Families that provides special pricing for your loved ones.

The aim here is to make 1Password affordable and accessible for all families everywhere, and that it serves as another revenue stream for AgileBits, so it has created a special plan just for families and has made it easier than ever for them to use this password management app.

1Password for Families is built on the app’s new teams infrastructure to provide coverage for a family of 5 for $5 per month. Users don’t need to set up a sync service to get everybody on board. Vaults will appear automatically and sharing within the family can be managed via the Admin Console.

Every family member will have their own copy of 1Password and their own personal space to privately store information. Members of the family thus don’t give up their independence while being able to share all of the features that this app offers. The feature is available across all platforms, Windows, Mac, iOS and Android.

Subscribers will get the first month free. Those who create an account prior to March 21st will get an additional two months for free, 2GB storage for documents and the ability to invite two more family members for free.
