samsung-mwc-virtual-realityThe Samsung Galaxy S7 will be unveiled this Sunday at MWC 2016. Now if you are not there in person to watch the event live, don’t worry because Samsung has got you covered. The company has recently announced a variety of different ways in which fans will be able to tune into the event, and one of the ways they mentioned is through virtual reality.

Now we know that virtual reality might seem like a tool specific to video games, but it can be used for all kinds of situations, and this product announcement is one of them. Basically if you own the Samsung Gear VR headset, Samsung is advising you to download the Unpacked 360 View app and install it on your phone.

Once that’s done, pop your phone into the Gear VR headset, select one of the viewing angles, and you’ll be good to go once the event kicks off, making you feel like you’re in the crowd. However if you don’t own the Gear VR, don’t worry because Samsung has you covered as well. Users will be able to watch the event on their phones by downloading the same app and it will be compatible with iOS devices as well.

If you’d rather watch it on your PC, you can just pop on over to the Galaxy Unpacked page on Samsung’s website and stream it there. It seems that VR is a big focus here as Samsung will let users choose from multiple viewing angles. If you’d like to get your hands on the app, head on over to the Google Play Store or the iTunes App Store for the download.
