The 4-inch iPhone has been rumored about for a while now and in terms of its name, we have heard it being referred to as the iPhone 6c, to the iPhone 5se, but most recently the iPhone SE moniker seems to have stuck. Now thanks to a recent posting on Weibo (via 9to5Mac), the packaging of the upcoming phone has leaked online.
As you can see in the photo above, the packaging seems to have confirmed its iPhone SE moniker. In addition to the name, it also shows it storage option at 16GB, meaning that despite apps these days being larger than they used to, Apple is still pretty adamant at sticking to offering 16GB options, which we guess does make things cheaper but at the same time frustrating as users do run out of space pretty quickly.
In any case it should be taken with a grain of salt for now especially since photos can be easily photoshopped and manipulated. However Apple has confirmed that they will be hosting an event on the 21st of March which is this coming Monday, so if you are interested in hearing all the official details, you can livestream the event yourself or check back with us for more coverage.
