Microsoft has received a lot of praise for its first notebook and the product appears to have done well in the market as well. In order to give people an incentive to purchase its notebook instead of those from its competitors, Microsoft has decided to offer a $100 discount on the Surface Book. The discount will be applicable on all six Surface Book configurations and will be available until April 9th.

Customers should bear in mind that Microsoft is only offering this discount to customers who are in the United States and Puerto Rico. The Surface Book can be purchased online as well through the Microsoft Store.

The entry level Surface Book configuration with an Intel Core i5 processor, 128GB storage and 8GB RAM now costs $1399 instead of $1499. The $100 discount is applicable on all six configurations of the notebook which includes the top-of-the-line Core i7 configuration with 1TB storage, 16GB RAM and dedicated GPU for $3199.

All Surface Book configurations feature a 13.5 inch Pixel Sense display with 3000×2000 resolution and 10 point multi-touch, all notebooks are powered by Windows 10 Pro and have a battery that’s said to be good for 12 hours of video playback.

This discount will be available until 11:59 pm PST on April 9th so you have ample time to make up your mind about picking up a brand new Surface Book from Microsoft for $100 less than what it usually costs.
