Leica-M-D-Typ-262-camera-frontJust yesterday, photos of Leica’s upcoming M-D Typ 262 camera leaked online, giving us a glimpse at what to expect. Now thanks to a recent Facebook post by Meister Camera (via Leica Rumors), additional photos have been leaked which you can check out in the photo above and in the gallery below.

So far these leaked photos are pretty consistent with the earlier leaked ones so we guess we more or less know what to expect. However if you’re wondering about specs, thanks to a post by Leica Boutique Dresen we now know what kind of hardware the camera will be packing under the hood.

Note that this is based on the translation of the text which is in German, so there might be a bit of loss in translation. That being said, the sensor type for the camera is said to be of the CMOS variety. There is talk about 6-bit encoding for Leica M lenses from 16mm up to 135mm, and that it will support up to 32GB in SDXC memory cards.

Its ISO levels can be adjusted from 200-6,400 and will come with a big and bright viewfinder with parallax compensation. Note that the Leica M-D Typ 262 does not feature an LCD display on the back. Instead the back will play host to an ISO dial that users can adjust the camera’s ISO from. The price of the camera has also been rumored to be at 5,995 EUR which seems to be more or less the same as what we had heard before.
