pebble-new-updateIt was in November last year that Pebble rolled out a Text Reply feature for iOS, which would at long last, allow iPhone users to be able to respond to incoming text messages right there and then on their Pebble smartwatch using a voice note or a default text response. The thing is, that particular feature remained exclusive only to those who are rocking on AT&T’s network, but it seems that all of that is about to change as iPhone users on Verizon too, will be able to enjoy a similar benefit with the rollout of the Version 3.11 update.

The Text Reply feature will be made available for all Pebble watches, but do bear in mind that voice reply will remain the sole domain of the Pebble Time models. Text replies to iOS users subscribed to Verizon is not the only new thing, as this particular update will also deliver a slew of other improvements such as a more accurate sleep-tracking mode with support thrown in for daytime naps that happen to be longer than an hour.

Apart from that, there is also a new snooze feature which will ensure that your timeline alerts will be a wee bit closer to the start time of an event, and as for the Time-series of smartwatches, those will be on the receiving end of additional vibration patterns to pick from. The “Pebble Time” app will also be known simply as “Pebble”, whereas the old Pebble app will carry the moniker “Pebble OLD VERSION.”
