If you’re a fan of Google’s products and services, obviously you won’t want to miss out on Google I/O 2016 which will be taking place in a couple of hours. If you’d rather watch the event unfold yourself, then you might be interested in checking out the livestream in the video above in which the events will be taking place live right before your very eyes.

As to what Google will be unveiling, we have previously covered a range of products that we think Google could unveil. Most obvious would be the next build of Android which right now is known as Android N. The developer preview has already been released, but we expect Google will have more details to share, like a release date hopefully.

We also heard that virtual reality will be one of the topics covered, and last we checked there was something called Android VR on Google’s developer site, something that we expect Google will discuss more about later today. There have been rumors of a standalone VR headset similar to the Oculus Rift/HTC Vive, so maybe we could learn more about that too.

Google is also said to unveil their take on Amazon Echo called Google Home, which is basically a speaker with a built-in voice assistant, which we can only assume refers to Google Now. We also expect updates to Android Wear, Chrome OS, Android Auto, Project Ara, and Google’s self-driving car efforts, but either way remember to tune in 1pm PT to find out more, or check back with us later for the details.
