When you’re a grown up and living by yourself, you quickly come to the realization that if you do not do your laundry, dust down the house, or wash the dishes after you’ve eaten, you will have no clothes to wear, everything you touch will be filthy, and you’ll have to start eating out of the takeaway containers your food comes in.

Of course such concepts are lost on teens who still live at home where their parents and even their maids would handle such chores for them. However Samsung is hoping that change that narrative over in Sweden by launching a concept program called LANdry. Basically the idea here is that by doing the laundry, teens will get credits in which they can use in the LAN cafe setup within the laundromat itself.

Obviously the more laundry you do, the more credits you get, and the longer you get to play. Unsurprisingly this isn’t completely altruistic as Samsung has taken this opportunity to advertise some of its products, like the Samsung AddWash washing machine and the Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone.

Now we’re not sure if this is such a great idea since staying out all day isn’t exactly good either, especially when homework needs to be done and exams need to be studied for, but we guess it is a rather novel way of enticing teens to be more responsible.
