What do we know about the iPhone 7 so far? According to the rumors, it is expected to do away with the antenna bands running across the back of the device, although the ones around the top and bottom edges are to remain. It is also expected to come with a dual camera setup, at least for the iPhone 7 Plus, and it has also been rumored to come in a blue finish. The headphone port is also said to be removed to make way for a second set of speakers.

Now it is obviously not a guarantee that these rumors are all true. Perhaps some might be true, like the headphone port one, since we’ve seen other OEMs adopt a similar setup, but the rest is really anyone’s guess. However the folks at PeripateticPandas on YouTube have put together a video that “transforms” the iPhone 6s into an iPhone 7 using nothing but a drill, a saw, and some paint. For those wondering, this is the same group that gave us a “round Apple Watch” last year.

Basically what they did was they cut off the camera on an iPhone and pasted it onto another iPhone 6s. They then soldered some metal to fill the hole of the headphone port, sanded it down flat, and proceeded to drill “speaker holes” where the headphone port used to be. They also taped the phone down, gave it a blue coat of paint, and ta-dah! We have the new “iPhone 7”!

Now obviously it doesn’t “work” the same way the iPhone 7 would, but we guess we’d have to give them props for their ingenuity, even though the abuse to the iPhone was rather painful to watch.
