pokemon-go-us-users-daily
It is highly unlikely that you have not heard about Pokemon Go yet. The game has taken the world by storm even though it’s only been released in a handful of countries so far. It would be a massive understatement to say that the game is doing well, it’s insanely popular, and perhaps that’s why in just a few days it has become the most popular smartphone game in U.S. history.

Data from Survey Monkey shows that daily smartphone users for Pokemon Go in the United States are greater in number than users for Candy Crush Saga which previously held the title of the most popular smartphone game in U.S. history.

Pokemon Go still hasn’t caught up with Candy Crush Saga when it comes to player numbers from across the globe. During its peak, the game was bringing in 93 million players every single day while Pokemon Go is currently averaging 21 million users, however, do bear in mind that it’s yet to be released in many markets so the number is definitely going to shoot up in the coming weeks.

Pokemon Go developer Niantic now has another challenge on its hands. It has to ensure that Pokemon Go thrives beyond the initial surge, that the game remains popular and doesn’t start bleeding players which is an all too familiar sight with smartphone games.
