battlefield_1_02If you love collector’s editions, you might to be aware of the different collector’s editions of Battlefield 1 that is floating around. As pointed out by the folks at Destructoid, there is a version of the game that will cost gamers $130, but won’t actually come with the game itself and it appears to be sold on Amazon.

Now you might recall that back in May we covered a $220 Collector’s Edition for Battlefield 1, and that is the version you want to get if you want all the goodies that come with it, such as the game, so don’t go getting mixed up lest you end up feeling ripped off. So the question is, who would pay $130 for the goodies minus the game?

Like we said, maybe collectors might be interested. There are some who collect such memorabilia for video games without actually playing the game. Or it could be that you’ve already been given a copy of the game, so instead of purchasing it twice, you can just pay $130 to get all the extra stuff in the collector’s edition.

Or maybe if you just like what you see and have no clue about the Battlefield franchise to begin with, either way if you’re so inclined, there is that option. In any case this is just a warning to gamers who might think they’re getting a good deal $130, but don’t realize that it is sans game.
