According to LG themselves a couple of weeks ago, they claimed that the LG V20 will be the first smartphone to pack quad DACs. What this means is that the LG V20 will be able to boast some serious audio capabilities, or at least compared to other smartphones where maybe sound quality isn’t necessarily its main focus.
It seems that LG is really hyping up the sound quality of the LG V20 because in yet another teaser posted on its website, they are once again trying to talk up the phone’s audio features. In this particular photo, they show a microphone which has us wondering if maybe on top of being able to output good quality audio, it might have a high quality microphone too to help enhance your voice while on the phone, or maybe if you want to record some music on the go.
We can’t say for sure and that’s just speculation, but if good audio quality is key for your smartphone needs, then perhaps the LG V20 could be worth checking out. The handset is expected to be announced on the 6th of September (7th in Seoul, South Korea due to the time difference). Google has also recently confirmed that the LG V20 will be the first non-Nexus handset to run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
