Polaroid is a company that many are familiar with when it comes to instant cameras. In fact many would associate the name with instant cameras, and it looks like the company is back with its latest product in the form of the Polaroid Snap Touch, a new instant camera that has some technological upgrades.
For starters as its name and as the photo above already implies, it comes with a 3.5-inch LCD touchscreen display on its back. The camera will also pack a 13MP CMOS sensor, and while it is an instant camera, it will also be able to record Full HD video. We guess video recording isn’t really the point of this camera, but at least the feature is there should you choose to use it.
It will support microSD cards for storage, so if you’d rather not print on the spot, you can always save it for later. There is built-in Bluetooth connectivity where users on iOS and Android can transfer photos to the Polaroid Print App.
The camera will print using Zero Ink Printing Technology that will be able to reproduce images on a 2-inch by 3-inch format. The camera is also currently available for pre-order where it is priced at $180, which come to think of it isn’t necessarily a whole lot cheaper than Leica’s Sofort.
