bw-p9-signatureHeadphones come in a range of prices, from being dirt cheap to being insanely expensive. Naturally there is some correlation between how good a sound is on a pair of $10 headphones versus $1,000, but whether or not that price is justifiable to you as a consumer is a whole different story.

That being said if you are looking for some premium headphones, Bowers & Wilkins has you covered. The company has recently taken the wraps off their latest pair of headphones in the form of the P9 Signature, and yes, if you were wondering if they are as expensive as they look, the headphones will be priced at a whopping $900.

Now like we said, whether or not these headphones are worth the $900 is entirely up to you, but Bowes & Wilkins is certainly trying to justify it. The headphones will feature 40mm piston diaphragm drivers, angled transducers, foldable arms made from forged aluminum, and Italian saffiano leather wrapped around the over-ear earcups.

The company is also planning on including a free Lightning cable with their headphones so you can use it with the iPhone 7/7 Plus. Unfortunately the cable won’t be available until next year, but you can register your interest and Bowers & Wilkins will send it over when it’s ready. In the meantime for those who are interested (and have the money), you can place your pre-order via Amazon’s website.
