Apple announced the AirPods wireless earbuds a couple of months ago. The earbuds were supposed to be released in October but the release was delayed due to some issues. Apple has finally started selling the AirPods today but it’s still keeping customers waiting for one product. A trio of Beats headphones was revealed alongside the AirPods, they include the BeatsX wireless earphones, their release has been delayed.


There have been rumors recently that the BeatsX release has been delayed. Word on the street is that the release has actually be delayed by up to three months which means that they might not be available for purchase until February 2017.

It has been confirmed that the BeatsX wireless earphones release has been delayed to 2017. They were supposed to be released “later this fall” but they won’t be available before 2017 now. The company hasn’t provided any reasons as yet regarding the delay.

BeatsX are a pair of wireless earphones that use Bluetooth for pairing with a mobile device. The earphones can be charged using a Lightning cable, the same that’s used to charge the iPhone. They’re compatible with Apple’s W1 chip for fast pairing with compatible Apple devices. Whenever they’re released, Apple’s BeatsX wireless earphones are going to cost $149.
