Are you excited for BioWare’s upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda? Given how popular the earlier games were, we can only imagine that many gamers are highly-anticipating Andromeda. The good news is that a new cinematic trailer has been released giving us another look at the game and its story.

No new gameplay was shown off but we’ve seen some footage before so we guess it’s not really that big of a deal. While Andromeda will be part of the Mass Effect franchise, it is expected to not have anything to do with the previous games. The events of Andromeda take place 600 years after the previous games so while you do exist in the same universe, it will be a completely different story.

Is this a good or bad thing? We know that many gamers were pretty attached to some of the characters from the previous trilogy, but as they say, all good things must come to an end. The game has been set for a release on the 21st of March, 2017 and for EA and Origin Access members, you guys will be getting a 10 hour trial access five days ahead of the release.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is expected to be released on the PS4, Xbox One, and the PC and it was recently confirmed that the game will be skipping the upcoming Nintendo Switch.
