So we know that Apple is interested in getting into original programming. We recently saw the trailer for “Carpool Karaoke” released, and in case you’re hankering for more Apple originals, the trailer for the upcoming reality TV show “Planet of the Apps” has been released, giving us an idea of what to expect.

According to the video’s description, “Planet of the Apps celebrates the world of apps and the talented people who create them. Hosted by Zane Lowe and featuring advisers Jessica Alba, Gwyneth Paltrow, Gary Vaynerchuk and will.i.am, the series highlights developers who have the vision to shape the future, solve real problems, and inspire change within our daily lives.”

Basically the show involves app developers pitching ideas to these four celebrities in hopes that their idea gets chosen. In a way it’s very similar to other competition-based reality shows out there, such as The Voice, The Apprentice, American Idol, America’s Got Talent, and more where people are given a brief amount of time to try and sell themselves and their talent to the judges.

It is an interesting pick for a panel of judges, but we guess we’ll have to wait for the series to air before we can determine how good (or bad) it is. Just like “Carpool Karaoke”, “Planet of the Apps” will only be available to Apple Music subscribers.
