Word on the street has it that Apple could be planning on launching new iPads this month, and it seems that the rumors could be right because according to mobile marketing firm Fiksu, it seems that they have discovered within their logs that Apple could be testing out at least four different iPad models.

According to the logs, four different iPad models were spotted that are named “iPad 7,1”, “iPad 7,2”, “iPad 7,3”, and “iPad 7,4”. We’re not sure which models they correspond to, but they have been making their appearances on Fiksu’s logs. The “iPad 7,1” model appears to be the most prominent as it has shown up 17 times by their count, followed by the “iPad 7,2” model at 11 counts, “iPad 7,4” at 10 counts, and “iPad 7,3” at 5 counts.

We have heard that Apple is planning on refreshing their iPad lineup  and that there could also be the introduction of a new 10.5-inch iPad Pro model. Assuming this is true, it makes sense that there are four model that being tested. Presumably they are the iPad Pro 9.7-inches, 10.5-inches, and 12.9-inches. The last could either be a “regular” 9.7-inch iPad or the iPad mini, although admittedly we haven’t really been hearing that much about either tablet.

In any case take it with a grain of salt since they could really be just about anything, but Apple could be announcing them later this month even without hosting an event.
