Have you ever wished that you could have a handset that runs iOS and Android at the same time? We know that day will probably never happen, at least not in an official capacity, but in the meantime here’s an unofficial alternative in the form of an iPhone case called the “Eye” which is currently trying to raise funds on Kickstarter.

So what is the Eye? Basically this is a smartphone case that comes with a full touchscreen on its back that will run Android at the same time. Essentially what you’re getting is two phones in one, where you’ll have your iPhone and on the back, a 5-inch screen will power Android. Alternatively if you’d rather not have it run Android, it acts as a secondary 2,800mAh battery, offers up 2x SIM card slots, offers wireless charging, NFC, a metal tag for mounting, and 256GB of storage.

The case appears to be compatible with a variety of iPhones ranging from the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus and up to the 7 and 7 Plus. Now we’re not sure how effective such a case might be, but if this is something that sounds like it could be worth investing in, check out the video above or you can head on over to its Kickstarter page to pledge your support or find out more.

However as is the case with all crowdfunded projects, it isn’t always a guarantee that they’ll be successfully funded, or if they’re even real at all, so do take some time to find out before dropping your hard-earned money.
