It has only been a few days since Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ officially and we already have folks digging into the software of this new handset. Many apps that are going to come pre-installed on the new flagship have now appeared online. A full Galaxy S8 system dump is now available for those who want to try out the new apps that Samsung has introduced with its new flagship smartphone.

This Galaxy S8 system dump weighs in at just over 1GB and includes apps like Messaging, Galaxy Apps, Samsung Account, Samsung Cloud, Video, My Files, and more.

Many XDAForums users have reported that they have been able to install these apps without having to root their devices. Some have even been able to get Bixby up and running on Nougat-powered Samsung flagships but it’s not entirely functional at this point in time.

It goes without saying that installing apps from third-party sources is almost always a gamble because you’re out of the Google Play Store’s safety net. Those who are impatient and would like to get a sense of the Galaxy S8’s user experience can go ahead and get this Galaxy S8 system dump from XDA Developers Forum.

If you’d rather wait, then mark your calendars for April 21st because that’s when the Galaxy S8 will be released.
