Let’s face it, how often do you actually look at the soles of your shoes? Or do you even care what they look like? Sure, there are some instances where the soles are important, like running shoes, boots for hiking, golf, soccer, and so on, but for the most part you can’t be faulted if you didn’t know or care what they looked like.

However if you fancy yourself something of a sneakerhead, then you might be interested to learn that Nike has recently announced two new iPhone cases for the iPhone 7. While they don’t do anything special, one of their key features and possibly its selling point is the fact that they are made from the soles of rather iconic sneakers.

Like we said there are two models, with one model sporting the sole of the Nike Air Force 1, and the other being the Nike Roshe. The Air Force 1 case is only available in blue (see above), while the Roshe case will be available in crimson and green glow. Both cases will retail for $35 and will only be available in the US for now.

We have to admit that while they are simple, it is a pretty clever idea and we have to wonder if maybe Nike could release similar cases for their other shoes in the future, like the Nike Cortez, for example.
