With Apple’s iPhones keeping to the same design for several generations, many are expecting that the launch of the iPhone will turn things around for the company in terms of renewed interest in the product. This is because the iPhone 8 is expected to usher in a brand new design as well as a bunch of highly-requested features, like an embedded fingerprint scanner, wireless charging, and more.

So far the rumor mill has been somewhat divided on what the phone could look like. We’ve seen leaks which contradict previous rumors, and we’ve seen leaks the corroborate the rumors. The latest set of photos from @OnLeaks appears to fall in the latter category as it allegedly shows a dummy unit of the iPhone 8.

From what we can tell, it seems that this dummy unit looks like what the rumors have been saying, which is a new dual camera setup, a new design, an edge-to-edge display, and also the lack of a home button which suggests that the fingerprint sensor could be embedded under the display.

Of course it is entirely possible that this dummy unit could have been cobbled together based on the rumors, so to call it a credible piece of intel isn’t very accurate, but assuming it’s accurate then perhaps this could be a glimpse at the final product. Apple is still months away from officially announcing their new iPhones, so until then take it with a grain of salt.
