EA has confirmed today that the Star Wars Battlefront 2 multiplayer beta is going to go live in the month of October.

They will get to dive into Naboo: Theed in Galactic Assault where they join Republic clone troopers and Separatist battle droids in a wild fight on the streets adjacent to the royal palace.

A multiplayer Starfighter Assault battle is also included in the beta which will let players pilot some of the most memorable starfighters from the Star Wars universe.

The beta is going to run through October 9th so those who want the maximum possible time with it should pre-order a copy of the new game right now if they haven’t already.
