While it is without a doubt that Mario Odyssey is one of the more anticipated games that will be arriving for the Nintendo Switch, at E3 2017 a couple of months ago, Nintendo and Ubisoft made a surprise announcement in the form of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, a game which combines some iconic Nintendo characters with Ubisoft’s Rabbids.
The game is expected to be released later this month, but to whet our appetites, Ubisoft has since released a new character trailer for the game featuring Mario. Assuming this is a pattern, it means that moving forward we can expect additional character trailers to be released featuring the other characters from the game.
According to Ubisoft’s description on YouTube, “Discover and unleash Mario’s power in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. As a mid-to-close range fighter with excellent mobility, Mario is the perfect hero to lead your team in combat. Use his M-Power technique to power-up your allies and blast foes when they move using Mario’s Hero Sight. With Mario by your side, no challenge is too great!”
The game is currently set for a release on the 29th of August and while it is a full game, we have heard recent rumors to suggest that the game might not be a full-priced game, and that it could be priced at $50 instead of $60, but we guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
