For those who are fans of the Monster Hunter franchise, you might have heard that in May, the folks at Capcom announced that Monster Hunter XX would be coming to the Nintendo Switch. If this is something that you might be interested in, then know that starting next week, the demo of the game will be available.

This means that gamers who want to take the game for a spin before buying it can do so starting from the 10th of August. The game itself will be released on the 25th of August, but the demo will be available via the eShop before then. However if you might recall, Capcom did state that the game is currently only slated for a release in Japan.

This means that the game will not be localized for Western markets, and that the game will only be available via the Japanese eShop. The good news is that the Switch is region-free (finally), which means that you are more than welcome to create a Japanese account (which is apparently pretty easy).

This should give gamers an idea if they can live with the Japanese-only text/speech, and if you think that the game is still playable then, we guess you can go ahead and purchase it.
